WHAT IS BODYFX?   

BodyFX is a long lasting, non-invasive solution to reduce the unsightly appearance of cellulite. BodyFX is the perfect solution to treat your mummy tummy or muffin top.  

HOW DOES BODYFX WORK?   

BodyFX uses a combination of different clinically proven modalities including radiofrequency energy, deep tissue heating, and a vacuum. The radiofrequency energy distributes heat to the skin and underlying fat, causing the tissues to heat. The vacuum and controlled energy pulses then work synergistically to provide beautiful body results.  

HOW SAFE IS THE TREATMENT?   

A series of radiofrequency energy is delivered by a succession of pulses at 1 million cycles per second. While this may sound intense, it is very safe. To maximize comfort, the body’s temperature will be constantly monitored, with ongoing accurate feedback of the skin’s temperature. This thermal monitoring provides the utmost in temperature control.     

DOES IT HURT?   

Most users find BodyFX comfortable. During treatment you can expect a warming of your skin and gentle pulling sensation as the radiofrequency and vacuum work to target stubborn pockets of fat.     

HOW MANY SESSIONS ARE RECOMMENDED?   

BodyFX treatments are customized and tailored to address your specific needs. It is recommended that weekly sessions are performed over an eight week period. Gradual improvements in the treatment area can be seen following the first few treatments, with the skin’s surface feeling smoother and softer immediately.     

WHAT KIND OF POST PROCEDURE CARE IS REQUIRED?   

There is absolutely no downtime associated with BodyFX treatments. Treatments are quick and painless, and can be performed over lunch time. You will notice redness and warmth in the treated area which will subside after a few hours. This warmth is equivalent to the sensation felt after a deep tissue massage and will not prevent anyone from their regular activities.

Forma uses bipolar radiofrequency technology to provide optimal skin remodelling treatments to improve the appearance of your skin.     

HOW DOES FORMA WORK?  

Forma was developed based on the clinical success of the proprietary A.C.E. (Acquire, Control, Extend) technology. A.C.E. technology uses radiofrequency energy to target deep layers of the skin, with no area being under or over treated. This ensures maximum and consistent results.    

IS FORMA FOR ME?   

Forma is suitable for all skin types and is appropriate for individuals seeking a non-invasive and a natural looking approach to achieve a younger appearance without surgery, scars, or downtime.  

WHAT AREAS CAN BE TREATED?    

Forma can be used on both the face and body. Commonly treated areas on the face include: forehead, crows feet, upper eyelids, lower eyelids, nasolabial folds, jowls, smile lines and neck. On the body, popular treatments consist of the arms (bat wings), abdomen and other areas that may need more refinement.      

WILL IT HURT?   

Forma is an essentially painless procedure with no downtime due to its precise technology and deep-layer targeting of the skin. Slight redness in the treatment area is common post-procedure, which subsides within a few hours.      

HOW MANY SESSIONS ARE RECOMMENDED?    

It is recommended that weekly sessions are performed over a six-week period. Individuals may be treated in fewer sessions with more weeks between each treatment. Scheduling should be based on a medical pre-evaluation.       

CAN THIS BE USED IN COMBINATION WITH OTHER TREATMENTS?   

Yes, Forma can be used in combination with most other laser treatments, facials, injectables and/or filler. Please speak to your aesthetic provider when considering combining Forma with other treatments.
